This pointy tip sponge is part of Momo's Workshop's Single Ear collection. I chose the Black Cat option, because yes, I have a Black cat (but not for that reason alone) & it matches what I see on my monitor. This is not my first experience with sponges & puffs from Momo's Workshop, I have both - sponges & puffs - & both have over-the-top cuteness overload but are also thoughtfully designed, using modern materials & are effective at what they're designed to do. This pointy-tipped "single ear" sponge allows you to get right up in the nooks & crannies & hollows etc., of your face, the way a rounded sponge can't. Momo's Workshop's Description Page is one of the best I've encountered in relation to the incredible detail & instructions of use provided. Being a detail-oriented person, this really resonates well with me. Because of how comprehensive the coverage is (no pun intended, lol) there's really nothing for me to add about these sponges, that hasn't already been addressed on their page. There's a lot of information provided immediately below the title & accompanying photos but if you scroll lower down, which if you're reading this you've more than likely already done, you know about the extra information included. I do, however, want to point out that not all the sponge options in the shapes of other cuteness-overload animals are the same, or intended to be used in the same way. I feel this is important because it's easy to miss & once purchased one may wonder why they have what looks more like a puff for powder when they thought they had ordered a sponge for foundation &/or concealer application. So briefly, there are the 3 different choices:The Three Different Sponge/Puff Choices Are:"Soft" Finish Powder Puff - For setting makeup with pressed powder (not a sponge at all, but a traditional powder puff)."Bouncy" Finish with Spots Sponge - The one with Paopaomi Technology for damp use with liquid products."Firm" Airy Marshmallow Sponge - The Black Cat Toto version, I requested made with Rubycell material for foundation application. So in summary, there are three distinct products with different textures and intended uses:A powder puff, a bouncy sponge for wet application, and a firm sponge for foundation. Each has a different material composition and finish designed for specific makeup application techniques. All sponges/puffs come with intelligently designed storage containers. This information can also be found lower down on the Description Page. If you've read this far, I really hope you've found the info. helpful in some way. Good luck on your make-up application tool journey!
