These are simply adorable! I love the look and the little strap that holds them onto my finger. The sponge is soft and works well to apply cosmetics.Unfortunately, because of the adorable eggplant art, only one side of the applicator is useable for foundation, and means that there is a fairly rough seam around the entire sponge. This isn't very comfortable when working on places close to the eye or other sensitive skin. I have removed one star as a result.

Makeup sponges are the best to use to really get the smoothest look in my opinion. These lemon sponges are the cutest so I almost didn��t want to use them and make them dirty with makeup. I like that these have the little finger strap to be able to pat the makeup and powder on my skin quickly without having to hold onto the sponge. The sponge is so smooth so it easily smoothly applies liquid makeup and helps continue to pat the product into place. I do like getting mine wet before using it to help it place the product better in my opinion but not everyone does that.
